A real HighLevel CRM course path.

Each lesson gives the learner a goal, a walkthrough, a practice task, a check-for-understanding prompt, and a completion state saved in the browser.

Lesson 01

Build your HighLevel map before you click around.

By the end of this lesson, the learner should know where the core CRM tools live and how HighLevel connects contacts, conversations, calendars, opportunities, and automations.

15 min

Walkthrough

  1. Open the dashboard and identify the left navigation.
  2. Find Contacts, Conversations, Opportunities, Calendars, Automations, Sites, and Reporting.
  3. Open Settings and review users, phone/email services, calendars, and integrations.
  4. Write down which features your business will use first.

Practice task

Create a simple CRM map with three columns: Where leads come from, how they get contacted, and what happens after they book or reply.

Lesson 02

Turn messy leads into clean contact records.

Learn how to add contacts, keep records consistent, use tags without creating clutter, and segment people for follow-up.

20 min

Walkthrough

  1. Create one test contact with phone, email, source, and notes.
  2. Add only useful tags, such as New Lead, Client, Renewal, or Needs Follow-Up.
  3. Use filters to find a contact group.
  4. Review duplicates before importing a list.

Practice task

Create a test segment called Needs Follow-Up and confirm you can find it again from the Contacts view.

Lesson 03

Use pipelines to see who needs attention.

Pipelines help learners track leads and customers through clear stages instead of guessing who needs the next action.

18 min

Walkthrough

  1. Review the current pipeline stages.
  2. Create a test opportunity from a contact.
  3. Move it through New Lead, Contacted, Appointment Set, Won, or Lost.
  4. Add a task or note for the next action.

Practice task

Build a simple five-stage pipeline that matches how the business actually sells or serves customers.

Lesson 04

Make booking simple and predictable.

Calendars connect availability, booking links, confirmations, reminders, and appointment outcomes.

16 min

Walkthrough

  1. Open Calendar Settings and review availability.
  2. Check meeting length, buffers, and timezone.
  3. Copy a booking link and test it in a private window.
  4. Confirm appointment reminders before sharing the link publicly.

Practice task

Create a test booking path and confirm the appointment appears on the calendar.

Lesson 05

Keep conversations organized across email and SMS.

Use Conversations to see customer replies, missed messages, and follow-up history in one place.

22 min

Walkthrough

  1. Open Conversations and find the latest messages.
  2. Review contact history before replying.
  3. Use templates only when they sound human and accurate.
  4. Stop sending if consent or context is unclear.

Practice task

Draft a short follow-up message for a lead who requested more information but has not booked yet.

Lesson 06

Build workflows that help instead of annoy.

Automation should move people through the right next step while keeping humans in control of important decisions.

25 min

Walkthrough

  1. Identify the trigger, such as form submitted or appointment booked.
  2. Review every action, delay, branch, and message.
  3. Use a test contact before turning the workflow on.
  4. Document what the workflow is supposed to do.

Practice task

Sketch a three-step workflow: new lead comes in, confirmation message sends, task is created for follow-up.

Lesson 07

Use reporting to decide what to fix next.

Dashboards should help learners understand lead sources, booked appointments, conversion movement, missed follow-up, and campaign performance.

18 min

Walkthrough

  1. Open reporting and review leads, appointments, and opportunities.
  2. Compare source quality instead of only counting volume.
  3. Look for stalled opportunities and missed replies.
  4. Pick one improvement for the next week.

Practice task

Write one weekly CRM question: Where are leads getting stuck, and what will we change this week?
